A Washington State man allegedly sent a profanity-filled tirade to the FBI threatening President Barack Obama?s life and daring them to come to his home.
When authorities took him up on his offer, they found him armed with an arsenal, KING-TV reported.
Anton Caluori, 31, is reported to have sent the email Tuesday to a general FBI address.
?I will kill the president!!!!!! ?I? Don't give a F-ck... But You Know That!!!!? it read in part, according to the Seattle Weekly. ?You Have 7 days...get me to Alcatraz now...you can't afford to call my bluff... Dieing Isn't frightening...it's peaceful...you will see...?
Caluori also allegedly promised a ?Cop killing spree? and gave his home address in Federal Way, writing ?COME GET ME.?
Police and a Secret Service agent went to the apartment he shares with his mother, and he answered the door with one hand behind his back, according to KING. When cops ordered him to show his hands, he revealed a pump-action shotgun.
He also reportedly wore a bandoleer laden with ammunition, with a large knife attached.
Caluori allegedly pointed the shotgun at the cops and they wrestled him to the ground.
When they asked if there was anything dangerous in his apartment, he said ?There are things inside that go boom.?
A search revealed two rifles, a .45 caliber pistol and several boxes of ammunition. He also had a revolver in an ankle holster, and a laptop computer showed the email address that sent the threatening message.
A marijuana growing operation was also set up inside the apartment.
Caluori was charged Wednesday with making threats against the president ? which could get him five years in prison ? and assault on a federal officer, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.
?The Department of Justice takes all threats against the president seriously,? Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven Masada said. ?Especially in this case, with an individual who had the ammunition to act on those threats."
